In opened public procurement procedure, which was announced and conducted by ES „Jugoistok, Niš, „Energomontaža“ was awarded the contract for the electric installation works in the substation „Doljevac“. This contract comes as a continuation of the already contracted project for the civil works and delivery of the equipment for this facility, which „Energomontaža“ contracted in 2014., with the same beneficiary. The design documentation was provided by „Jugoistok“, which they obtained through the separate public procurement procedure.

This substation presents the backbone of the extension of the power grid in the southern Niš suburban area, both in the terms of the improvement of the quality of the power supply to the consumers as well as for strengthening the infrastructural resources for the potential investments in the economic development. This is the same way as our company observe this project – the challenge to perform high-demanding works in the given very short timeframe, as well as to enable successful commissioning of this facility. Consecutively, such realization of the project is the confirmation of the fact that the large and important facilities can be significantly cheaper and faster put in operation when contracted as „turn key“, in which segment „Energomontaža“ is one of the leaders in the region.

The works are scheduled to be completed by the beginning of November 2015.
